The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire an advanced level of language skills to accomplish STANAG Level 3 or 2 exam. Therefore, the focus of the classes will be on exam-based exercises in all four skills: reading, writing, listening comprehension and speaking. Strengthening content, structure and method will also be important in four skills. Based on actual practice in NATO missions at operational level, the instructor’s methodology incorporates all elements of skills in an advanced and tested method of military teaching.

Activities of Skills Development:

Reading covers all three parts of exercises, implementing different reading techniques.

Listening Comprehension exercises involve actual political and military related topics aligned with concrete tasks from the preparatory list. The aim is to support both oral and listening skills.

Writing teaches how to write structured, coherent and cohesive civilian essays. At the same time, military report writing based on proper and current military expressions, time, and abbreviations will also be developed.

Speaking will concentrate on actual topics  prepared in a student-friendly, easy-to-learn  way, for example, cards, figures, and pictures. The vocabulary and special topics in the other three skills will also be included in the speaking situations.
