ONLINE HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE SPRING SEMESTER COURSE

40 class units/10 weeks, 2 ECTS credits

March -May 2026

The aim of this intensive semester course, tailored to everyday needs, is to enable participants to use modern spoken Hungarian. The emphasis is on everyday communication, frequently used linguistic expressions, and structures characteristic of spoken language. Grammar is presented in a functional way, linked to communication situations. For this reason, at the beginning of the course, it may happen that students in the same group do not have exactly the same prior knowledge. However, these differences do not hinder progress based on continuous learning.

Based on the preliminary placement tests, we will start groups at the following levels:

1. Beginner and refresher level (A1) Monday-Wednesday 6-7:30 p.m. (CET)
